I took tons of pics during the install and this section is just here to show them off, use the shop manual as your guide for installing the head not this.
Here's the order of most the parts I need from hondaautomotiveparts.com.
New PGM-FI sticker for my manifold when I get it back from Toofast, notice the cool JDM packing paper it came on to the left:

Intake valve stem seals:

Exhaust seals:

Box with rest of stuff, head gasket, cam seals, dist and cyl sensor o-rings, extra cam cap bolts (Though now I need more), and few extra cam cap dowels:

Just starting, taking off all the easy stuff while the coolant drains:

Nifty new Snap-on pliers set I got. Lets you stick them into cramped places to get at stuff:

Once of my fav tricks, using wiper arms to hold fuel lines, wiring, throttle cables, etc. out of the way:

Exhaust cam seal was starting to leak, you can see some oil on the back of the cam gear here:

I'm a big fan of exhaust heat wrap. That exposed flange would burn me if I touched it in this pic, but the wrapped header tubes are only warm to the touch:

Got head off. Cross hatch is still visible, no ridge at the top of the cylinder, and very little carbon build-up. Yay for JDM motors!

This head has no pitting and little carbon build up:

Since I'm bypassing the EACV, FIV, and TB coolant lines I capped them off at the water pipe:

Getting ready to clean the engine. I scraped the old gasket off and cleaned the deck surface, then I applied painters tape over the whole deck to keep dirt out:

I bought two cans of carb cleaner and soaked the caked on grease hidden behind the manifold with it:

Cleaned bay, that's oil in the cylinders btw not water:

Re-polished my valve cover:

About the put the head on:
