KSport released its Kontrol Pro full coil-over kit for 3rd gens in early '08. They feature 32-way adjustable shocks and come with 10kg/mm (560in/lb.) front springs and 6kg/mm (336in/lb.) rear springs by default. (You can order them with custom spring rates.)

If you want them contact 1funryd on PreludePower.com, or check out his web site at:

Make sure you contact him directly for the lowest price on the kit.

Installation:

Remove stock dampers+springs:

Before Installing KSports:

First let me start by labeling each part of the coil-overs so you know what I'm talking about:

Here is how you use the locking ring wrenches:

Once you remove the KSports from the box screw the spring perch up until it contacts the spring, turn it by hand just a little bit more so there is no slack, and then tighten the locking ring against the perch. Do this on all 4 coil-overs.

You adjust the height of the coil-overs by screwing the lower mount up and down, not by raising and lowering the spring perch like on the old coil-overs on the left here:

If you want a good starting point to use for the initial install set them approximately like in this picture:

Installing fronts:

Take the front coil-over and slip its studs through the shock tower and then spin the nuts on by hand.

Torque the nuts to 28lb-ft:

On the bottom of the coil-over slip the damper fork on and install the pinch bolt (32lb-ft). Next install the lower fork bolt; you may need to lift up on the suspension to get everything lined up and allow the bolt to slip through. Torque the lower bolt to 47lb-ft.

For the brake lines you have two options. Option 1 is to use the supplied bracket like in the following pictures:

Option 2, which I prefer, is to use zip ties to secure the brake lines to the coil-over:

OK now you are done with the fronts.

Installing rears:

The rear install is nearly the same as the front.

Slip the coil-over thread up through the shock tower and spin the nuts on, torque them to 28lb-ft. You may need to push down on the suspension to get enough clearance to fit the coil-over in.

One install issue:
On your old dampers you will see that they have the nut for the lower bolt welded onto them. The KSports do not have this nut:

The nuts are the same as the front nuts though so take one of the fronts to an auto parts store and buy 2 more nuts with the same thread and use those for the rear bolts. Torque the bolts to 47lb-ft.

Secure the brake line to the damper body with a zip tie:

That's it for the rears.

On car height adjustment:

Adjusting them on the car is easy. Start by jacking up the end of the car your working on and then loosening the lower mount locking ring.

Now to change the height all you have to do is grab the coil-overs at the spring perch and turn the whole assembly. Use the perch wrench if they are hard to turn.

Once you get them where you want tighten the lower locking ring back down.
