I had been neglecting my brakes since I got the lude and decided it was time for a mild upgrade.
I put on Brembo blank rotors, PBR metal master brake pads, Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines, cut off my front dust shields, and painted the calipers. This tutorial will be of my install.

Tools needed:

Assortment of metric wrenches 10-19mm
Ratchet(s) with metric sockets 10mm - 17mm
Torque wrench
Screw drivers phillips and flathead
Pliers
C-Clamp
Some DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid
High temp thread lock (Optional, but I recommend it)
Some tool suitable for screwing in the rear caliper pistons (Pliers usually work)
Torch or cutting tool if you intend to remove the dust shields
Paint for the calipers if you want to paint them

Here's the condition of my old brakes:

Old rusted rotor with many surface flaws, caliper functions alright but has years of baked on brake dust and dirt, 15 year old brake lines:

Here are the rotors, pads, and braided brake lines I will be installing:
